Great restaurant in a beautiful setting by the water. Obviously very popular as it was super busy and hard to get a park, so I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We ended up parking at a public parking spot close by and did the short 5 minute walk along the water to the restaurant, which was quite nice. Food was wonderful
Came at a busy lunch hour. Service was prompt. Food came out hot, fresh, and made to order.
My other half and I had just finished driving for 11 hours and decided to stop at Moby Dicky's for dinner. Service was excellent and fast. Food was delicious. Our waiter was great! We only spent thirty minutes in the restaurant from the time we arrived to the time we received our bill. We would eat here again!
All I can say is WOW! What a wonderful experience this was! From sitting outside on a beautiful summer day next to the water. To our amazing server, Alicia We started with Chicago style oysters, which we very good. I had Lobster Bisque soup and their Drunkin Shrimp , one of the best shrimp dishes I have ever had. They are right, this is way more than an appetizer. The sauce is absolutely amazing and the freshly cooked focaccia bread dipped in the sauce was so yummy! Hubby had the Lobster Ravioli, he said the sauce was really good as were the ravioli.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. A bit of a wait but they text you so go chill in the car for a bit. One of my favorite versions of shrimp and grits here. The catfish is pretty spot on as well. The crab wontons are a great app if you don't want their heavily talked about shrimp starter. The hush puppies are pretty taste as well, no need for ketchup, fried just right.
We enjoy sitting in the Adirondack chairs with our beverage enjoying the water view. They offer inside seating as well as an outside covered area. There is as well an inside and outside bar. Family friendly!
The perfect spot for a date Night. My wife and I went here. There is a little bit of a wait but 100% worth it. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful not to mention the scenery of the lake. Highly recommend this place.
Food was good no real complaints but not excellent. We had shrimp and catfish. It was very loud in there making it hard to converse. The staff were very very good. Very receptive with a helpful attitude. Catfish filet did have bones in it or would have rated better.
Moby Dickies is our absolute favorite spot! The food is always sooo yummy. Well prepared, flavorful, and good sized portions. We love the vibe and atmosphere. Beautiful view on the patio. Good drinks. Reasonably priced. We take all of our out of town guests here for dinner and it is always a hit.
Moby Dicky’s is one of my favorite food spots! Both the food and the scenery are amazing! We love sitting outside on the patio with views of the lake. It gets busy so wait times can be long during peak times, but it’s definitely worth it! Their oysters are amazing! Some of the best in town. The staff members are friendly and welcoming, and we always have a great time. I highly recommend Moby Dicky’s!
